World's Smallest Needle : Pioneer of 30㎛

• One of our company's notable products is the world's smallest suture needle, boasting a diameter of just 30 µm (0.03 mm).
  When we embarked on the development of this pioneering product, surgical procedures that required needles with diameters under 100 µm were deemed unfeasible. The idea was shared among needle manufacturers, who believed that needles with diameters under 100 µm were beyond the realm of possibility. Nevertheless, there was a demand for small needles, particularly from patients who were young or had rare diseases.
  Driven by strong requests from doctors, our development was initiated under "medical-engineering collaboration" with various partners. Despite facing seemingly insurmountable challenges, our determination to offer solutions that could potentially save patients' lives remained resolute.

  In the initial stages, we recognized a critical need for specialized machines capable of performing extremely precise machining: a capability we lacked at that time. Understanding that we could not rely on external sources as industrial pioneers, we developed tools, manufacturing machinery, and measurement equipment by ourselves. The manufacturing process itself encountered numerous hurdles. We navigated through challenge in material selection and task of attaching sutures to the delicate needles. Despite setbacks, we persevered in our pursuit of innovation and progress.
  The world's smallest needle enabled surgeries which was thought to be impossible, and is the only needle that can conduct sutures of blood vessels and nerves with the diameter of 500㎛ (0.5 mm) and under. Microsurgeons have provided positive feedbacks, highlighting its potential to advance the field of microsurgery.
